P1

The audience for my multimedia piece will be students and teachers, they would need to be able to look at it and be able to understand what they are looking at, and be educated by it, they would have multiple ways to learn from it as video, text, images, audio and links would be supplying to information. The things that will be informing my audience will be

Video

Video could involve a video of art work, for example putting a sculpture on a spinning wheel and videoing it, giving the audience a full 360 view of the sculpture. This is for people that find it hard to look at still images and prefer to watch. The video entertains the audience and educates the audience of the types of work that the department offers.

Text

Texts will be my written evaluation of s piece of work, allowing the audience to read it and be able to understand my thoughts about the work. This would allow people that prefer to read about information rather than look at images and try and figure it out themselves. Text informs the audience of the work they are looking at.

Images

These will be still images, photographs of work that have been done in the department; these allow the audience to visually see the work for example if they are deaf or can’t read they would be able to look at these. The images entertain the audience

Audio

Audio entertains, informs and educates the audience of what they are looking at such as an images and videos. Audio allows the audience to understand what is going on in front of them. It helps the blind also to understand what is happening.

Links

Links would be used to educate the audience as it would inform them of other places to get extra information on the images, audio and video they are looking at, allowing the audience to udersand what is into a thither depth.

Database Evaluation

The intentions I had for my database were to store records in different tables for a film club. I think I have achieved my intentions as my database is capable of doing this.
At the beginning of this unit we had to take the data from two notebook documents, I had to import it into the database tables I had created already. I imported the correct data into my tables. After I created forms this allows the users to put their details and information into the database.

My forms

Member’s form                                                                                                                                                                               this allows people, who want to become members, register their information and submit it into the database. I put a submit button in the form to allow them to submit their information and then the query I created runs to append the data into the database.

Payments form                                                                                                                                                                                                                  the payments form allows the user to enter their payment information into the database, the same as the members form the query is ran when the data is submitted.

Suggested Improvements:
Two improvements that would make my database easier to use for the user, such as a switchboard this would allow users to easily go through the forms, and a payments form that would allow users to enter payments into the database. I added both of these it would allow users to write a review on one of the films that they had watched.
